Well I don't play this game that much but I have a gist on how matches go. This game is mainly about mix ups and knowing what to execute.
So my tip to all of you peoples is just to know the timing of wake ups and learn crazy mix ups. For the execution part, when your being pressure just keep in mind of jump ins. I don't know if every character has an execution to punish someone that jumps right above the head, but just really keep that in mind that you have an execution. For me as a Blanka player it is pretty easy to execute because I have vertical ball and electricity and those really help. So just remember don't get caught in pressure.

wrong this game is about footsies and blanka is really cheap to be honest with you he is up there in cheapness level, there is no timing in wake ups, play 3s that is timing on wakeups, on wake up you should just block online in person you can start doing mixups and stuff like that, this game is about spacing,footsies, knowing your character, knowing the matchups, then knowing your opponent and what they like to do

plus some matchups are mostly footsies matches, ryu v ryu is the biggest example, example in tekken you really dont have to know your opponent you just have to know your punshiers, there is no match ups lol its a coin toss game no priority, mvc3 has no footsies and there is really no matchup data cause any character can win, look at she hulk, day one esby said she was his and everyone said take her and now look at her, look at clark and peter they are the reason people are using tron now

well isn't that how every fighting game is? lol I can name a lot of games that don't include spacing or match ups, and SF4 series doesn't require spacing, well true spacing. |
